It is intimated that the industry has applied for ‘Consent to Establish (NOC) from Pollution Angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents for manufacture Scaffolding, Hand Tools and Auto Parts @ 4 MT/Day, using Mild Steel @ 4 MT/Day as Raw Material.
To verify the facts of the case, the site of the industry was visited by RO on 11.03.2024 and observed as under:-
1. The industry has constructed the working hall.
2. It has installed 1 No. Hammer of Capacity 1.25 Ton, 1 No. Induction Heater, 1 No. Trimming Power Press of Capacity 75 Ton, 1 No. Punching Power Press of Capacity 50 Ton, 1 No. Cutting Power Press of Capacity 150 Ton, 1 No. Surface Grinder and 1 Drill Machine.
3. The manufacturing process of the industry will be Raw Material-Cutting-Induction Heating-Forging- Trimming.
4. There is no source of trade effluent, domestic effluent will be discharged onto land to land for plantation after treating it in septic tank and cooling water will be re-circulated.
5. The Industrial Electric connection has not been released by the PSPCL authorities.
6. The industry has taken the land on lease from Sh. Som Nath S/o Sh. Data Ram R/o Ward No.2, VPO Lalhri Tehsil Hardi, HP w.e.f. 1.11.2022 to 31.10.2031.
7. The industry has submitted the copy of GLADA letter No. EO®GLADA/Ldh/2020/10872 dated 13.11.2020 alongwith approved building plan from GLADA vide which the land use pattern of the industry is Industrial.
8. The cost of the project is Rs. 301.52 Lacs, out of which the cost of Plant and Machinery is Rs. 171 Lacs.
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for one year with usual conditions and with the special condition that industry will not install any Water/Air polluting machinery without the written permission of the Board, please.
