The marriage Palace was granted consent to establish (NOC) of the Board under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/BTI/2020/14318082 dated 16.12.2020 for the Marriage Palace having hall capacity of 250 persons/function, which was valid upto 15.12.2021, with suitable conditions mentioned therein
Now, the marriage Palace has applied for obtaining fresh consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for the Marriage Palace having hall capacity of 250 persons through online on OCMMS, with requisite documents.
The Marriage Palace has deposited consent fee of Rs. 25,200/- through online vide UTR.no. P285230272973523 dated 12.10.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 25,200/- through online vide UTR.no. P071240307312748 dated 11.03.2024 Under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2029 for fixed assets of Rs. 66.58 Lacs. The marriage palace has also deposited Rs. 14400/- through online vide no. P285230272972443 dated 12.10.2023 as penalty fee and Rs. 4100/- through online vide no. P285230272972421 dated 12.10.2023 as balance fee.
The Palace visited by AEE of this office on 19.03.2024 and it was observed under: -
1. The marriage palace was not in operation.
2. The marriage palace is a seasonal marriage palace and its hosting capacity is less than 500/persons/guests.
3. The marriage palace has provided grit chamber with oil &grease trap followed by septic tank for kitchen section.
4. The marriage palace has provided septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent.
5. The treated domestic effluent from the septic tank is discharged onto land for plantation developed along the boundary.
6. The marriage palace has made arrangements to give vegetable waste including peeling to the pig farmers and recyclable waste to kabaddi wala.
The marriage palace has prohibited the operation of DJ system from 10.00 PM to 6.00AM.
The other compliance of the guidelines issued for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms at Individual Establishments and the Area/Cluster of Restaurants/ Hotels/Motels/ Banquets vide Board’s office order no SEE(HQ-2)2021/64 dt. 02.02.2021 is attached with agenda note.
From it is clear that the marriage is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, but not complying with all the conditions of guidelines issued for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms at Individual Establishments and the Area/Cluster of Restaurants/ Hotels/Motels/ Banquets vide Board’s office order no SEE(HQ-2)2021/64 dt. 02.02.2021.
Keeping view of above, it is recommended that application for obtaining consent to operate of the Board under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the palace for a period upto 30.09.2029 with suitable conditions.
