| Clarification Note: |
The application was scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The industry has applied for varied consent to operate; however, there is no change in raw material and product, for which it was earlier granted consent to operate. Kindly clarify.
2. The industry has increased the domestic water consumption from 3 KLD to 5 KLD; however, no. of workers remains same. Kindly clarify.
3. The industry has not mentioned the treatment detail of wastewater generated from the process in the application form.
4. The industry has not submitted the approved building plans under Rule 3-A of the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 from the competent authority.
5. The industry has not deposited the penalty amounting to Rs. 16,800/- each under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as per Board's office order dated 29.10.2018.
As such, you are requested to remove the above said observations within 03 days, so that the application can be processed further. |
