The marriage palace was again visited by undersigned (AEE) on 19.03.2024 and it was observed that:-
1) The marriage palace was not in operation during the visit.
2) The palace has provided oil & grease chamber for kitchen section and has now installed septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent. The treated effluent before septic tank is being collected in an underground cemented tank for storage of effluent.
3) The marriage palace has developed plantation / saplings along its boundary and will also use lawn area for plantation purposes.
4) The marriage palace has provided compost pit for disposal of municipal solid waste generated from its premises. As per representative, the non-biodegradable waste will be handed over to the kabaris.
5) The marriage palace has provided hood arrangement with chimney at the kitchen section.
6) The marriage palace has removed the earlier existing without canopy DG set and will install the canopy based DG set as per its requirement.
7) During visit, the representative informed that they have not received first initial electricity bill till date and they have carried out their first function in the palace via DG set on 28.12.2023 and submitted copy of tax invoice of the same. The representative requested to consider the same as proof of its date of commissioning. Considering this as date of commissioning of the marriage palace, the consent to operate fee deposited by the marriage palace is adequate upto 30.09.2024 under both Acts after deducting NOC fee as well as 10% of penalty as applicable.
In view of the above, the marriage palace is now complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, it is therefore recommended that consent to operate may be granted to the marriage palace for a period upto 30.09.2024 please.
