1. The industry has installed barrels for washing of nut bolts. The washed water is re-used in washing after passing through treatment setup provided by the industry which comprises of oil and grease trap, collection tank, reaction – cum settling tank followed by storage tank from which the water is re-used for washing purpose.
2. Now, the industry has proposed to set up hot dip galvanized zinc plant for Nut and Bolts. It has signed an agreement with CETP i.e. M/s JBR Technology Ltd. for lifting of effluent @ 8000 ltr/month, which will be generating from galvanizing process (i.e. surface cleaning with acid before galvanizing).
