File Note: It is submitted that the hospital has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for (hospital @ 30 beds) along with Request Letter, Compliance report Bed Capacity Certificate, Agreement made with CBWTF. The hospital has deposited Rs. 30000/- (including Rs. 2000/- as NOC regularization fee) vide Receipt No. 636748268 dt 18/03/2024 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 28500/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide Receipt No. 967055531 dt 18/03/2024 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate up to 30/09/2030. 1. The Municipal Corporation, Amritsar vide letter no. 1955 dated 09/11/2023 has issued permission to the HCF for the discharge of waste water into sewerage. It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. Now in continuation to above orders Board has issued fresh orders vide no. 329 dated 14/9/2023 regarding to Auto generation of renewal of consent to establish / operate / Authorization of any category of Small-Scale industries / projects / Health Care Facilities (up to 50 beds) and Hazardous Waste generating industries. The hospital is having bed capacity of 30 beds and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act may be granted to the hospital up to 30/09/2028 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that :- 1. The hospital will get effluent sample (combined liquid and domestic effluent) analyzed from an approved lab of the Board within 01month. 2. The hospital will renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office. 3. The HCF shall comply vide Head Office, no. 468 dated 31/08/2021 issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board
