File Note: The industry is a medium scale / red category solvent extraction plant. The industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FZL/2019/9726399 dt. 24.04.2019 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FZL/2019/9726321 dated 24.04.2019, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein with validity upto 31.03.2024 for production of Rice Bran Oil @ 20 TPD and de-oiled cake @ 130 TPD. Now the industry has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for the same production capacity. Details of the case are as under:- • The industry has submitted CA certificate showing gross fixed assets of Rs. 932.73 Lakhs. The industry has deposited the consent to operate fee of Rs. 1,08,000/- vide UTR/ Ref No. 000144977510 dated 23.02.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and the Rs. 1,08,000/- vide UTR / Ref No. 000144976806 dated 23.02.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate for a period upto 31.03.2029. The industry was visited by undersigned on 19.03.2023 and it was observed as under: - 1. The industry is a solvent extraction plant and same was not in operation as per requirement. 2. The industry has not installed any new machinery within its premises for increasing its production capacity. 3. The industry has installed a non-fluidized boiler of capacity 04 TPH using wood and agro waste as fuel. 4. The industry has installed multi-cyclone as air pollution control device with the boiler furnace with stack of height 30 mtr. above ground level. 5. The industry has provided adequate sampling facility with the stack of boiler furnace so as facilitate the emission sampling. 6. The industry has installed canopy-based D.G set of capacity 320 KVA and has also provided stack of height more than 3 mtr above roof level. 7. Entire trade effluent of the industry is being used in the digesters of its sister concerned unit- M/s Sampuran Agri Venture Private Ltd. and no trade effluent is being discharged anywhere by the industry. M/s Sampuran Agri Venture Pvt. Ltd has also applied for obtaining consents from the Board as required under the Water Act,1974 & Air Act,1981 for use of entire trade effluent of Nassa Agri Venture Pvt. Ltd., which are under process. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Air Act, 1981 as well as Water Act, 1981. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be renewed up to 31.03.2029 with suitable conditions alongwith the following specific that:- 1. The industry shall get its emission samples analysed from Boards Lab within one month. 2. The industry shall carry out the disposal of its entire effluent by using the same in its sister concerned unit, M/s Sampooran Agriventure. 3. The industry shall mantain record regarding the fresh water usage in the process and the effluent disposed off into sister concern unit. Competency : Worthy CEE
