Regarding site suitability it is submitted that the industry has submitted land use classification, which show that the site is situated industrial zone and all type of expansion are permitted in the said industrial park in an area of 550 acre land confirmed by the DTP, GMADA vide letter no. 1722 dated 06/05/2016.
Further, the industry has installed adequate rotary filters for control of additional pollution load/fluff due to increase in blow room and carding machines. Also the industry has been advised to obtain varied consent under Air Act, 1981 for increased its production capacity and the industry has ensured that the same will be submitted shortly.
In view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for one year with subject to suitable conditions and special conditions mentioned in earlier note.
