File Note: Kindly peruse the note of AEE. In view of facts mentioned in the agenda note of AEE, it is clear that the industry has neither installed any mechanism to control the secondary emissions nor submitted any proposal in this regard. Further, the industry has not connected its OCEMS with the server of the Board and has not submitted the stack emission analysis report. In view of the facts mentioned above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for the short period of six months subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions that: 1. The industry shall submit the bank guarantee of suitable amount as an assurance to the effect that the industry shall install secondary emission control system within 03 months. 2. The industry shall get the OCEMS connected with the server of the Board within 01 month. 3. The industry shall get the stack emission monitoring from Board’s lab within one month. 4. The industry shall comply with the conditions of Environmental Clearance granted to it under EIA notification dated z14/09/2006. 5. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent from its process under any circumstance without obtaining prior permission from the Board. 6. The industry shall maintain its green belt area developed in compliance of EC and plant trees wherever space is available inside and outside the unit. 7. The industry shall also develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. PP shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies. 8. The industry shall perform / promote its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities as well as use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic (See attached banner/circular). 9. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.
