Earlier the industry was granted Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH4/2020/11961784 dated 30.12.2019 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2020/11961340 dated 30.12.2019, which is valid upto 30.12.2029 in the name and style of M/s Space Fashions Pvt. Ltd., E-440, Phase-6, Focal Point, Ludhiana………………..
Now the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of T-shirts @ 8000 Numbers/day and for discharge of domestic effluent @ KLD into sewer after treatment through septic tank in the name and style of M/s Space Fashions Limited, E-439-440, Phase-6, Focal Point, Ludhiana………….
The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.12.2034……………………..
To verify the content and facts, the industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 18.03.2023 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry is in operation during visit and the industry is located in designated area i.e. Phase-6, Focal Point.
2. The industry is engaged in manufacturing of garments having stitching, cutting and packing processes.
3. The industry has provided D.G. set provided with canopy and adequate stack height and one diesel and one LPG fired hot water generator.
4. No washing has been carried out by the industry.
5. No trade effluent is generated and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
6. The industry has submitted an approved building plan approved by the Competent Person.
As proposed by Regional Office , may, if approved
1. Consent to Operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted up to ten years i.e. 31.12.2034 with suitable conditions.
