a. It is submitted that the industry is small scale green category unit and is engaged in the manufacturing of BICYCLE PARTS @ 1 TPD.
b. Now the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of BICYCLE PARTS @ 1 TPD and for discharge of domestic effluent @ 0.35 KLD into sewer.
c. The industry has deposited consent fee of amounting to Rs. 120500/- vide R.no. 679443823 dated 21.03.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 113600/- vide R.no. 932556609 dated 21.03.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.07.2030.
d. To verify the content and facts, the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 18.03.2023 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry is in operation during visit and the industry is located in designated area i.e. Phase-6, Focal Point.
2. The industry is engaged in manufacturing of Bicycle Parts @ 1 TPD.
3. The industry has installed power presses of various capacities.
4. The industry has installed 01 DG set of capacity 40 KVA with adequate stack height which are equipped with canopy.
5. No trade effluent is generated and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
6. The industry has submitted an approved building plan approved by the Competent Person.
7. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended that the fresh Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted up to ten years i.e. 31.12.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy Board.
