File Note: It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/NWS/2023/22291033 dated 07.06.2023 valid upto 06.06.2024 for manufacturing of Husk @1T/Hour Phuk @0.25T/Hour Shortage @0.25T/Hour from Paddy @ 5 T/Hour along with shelling section cyclone as APCD and 01 No. Mechanical Dryer with cyclone as APCD and 01 no. Sortex Machine with conditions mentioned therein Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, completion of APCD. The industry has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. 266647929 dated 19.03.2024 and Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. 28747116 dated 19.03.2024. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2029. The industry was visited by JEE (OS) of this office on 21.03.2024 and observed that the rice has installed 01 No. Shelling section with cyclone as APCD and adequate stack height, 01 No. Dryer along with cyclone as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed 01 No. Sortex machine. During visit, the rice sheller was in operation. The industry has provided septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent and same will be discharged onto land for plantation. In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2025 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that 1) The rice sheller shall submit analysis report in the next coming season and shall comply with the code of practice prescribed for rice shellers. 2) The rice sheller shall not install any new machinery without prior permission of the Board. 3) The rice sheller shall provide plantation around the periphery of the unit. 4) The rice sheller shall provide green belt along the wall adjoining to the houses. 5) The rice sheller provides adequate height of the wall towards the houses to avoid the flowing rice husk. 6) The rice sheller shall submit the CLU from the concerned Department with 02 months.
