It is submitted that the compliance status of the earlier CTOs special conditions are mentioned below: -
1) The industry shall submit effluent analysis results of treated domestic effluent within one month.
Reply:- the industry has installed STP based on MBBR technology for treatment of domestic effluent and the treated effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation. As per record maintained by the industry about 1.5 KL of domestic effluent is being treated in the STP. However, at the time of visit there was no discharge at the outlet of the STP. A special condition has been imposed that the industry will submit effluent analysis results from Boards lab within one month.
2) The industry shall obtain registration under EPR as per Plastic Rules, 2016 within one month.
Reply:- The industry has applied for obtaining registration under EPR as per Plastic Rules, 2016 vide registration no. 2023120107544848676 on dated 07.12.2023, which is under process.
In the view of above, it is recommended that the 'Consent to Operate' under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.03.2029, subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that:
1. The industry shall submit effluent analysis results from Boards lab within one month.
