The industry has submitted “In Principal Approval” certificate from the District Nodal Agency, District Industries Centre, Ludhiana issued vide memo no. 4259 dated 14.08.2023 for Factory Building Plan and Factory License under the Punjab Factory Rules, 1952 and as per this certificate “Approval of Factory Building Plan (Except for industries involving hazardous process as per First Schedule of Factories Act, 1948)” has been granted for period upto 26.12.2026, subject to condition that:
“During the course of validity of the Certificate if In Principle Approval, the enterprises shall at any time but not later than three years and Six Months from the date of issue of certificate, apply and obtain all applicable regular approvals from the concerned departments through the single window system of Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion (PBIP).”
Compliance of NOC conditions submitted by industry in annotated form is attached herewith. The industry has also submitted Rs. 12,567/- as Sample testing fee in advance.
Fresh ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted for operation of Rice sheller unit with dryer section to manufacture raw rice with dryer and sortex @ 06 TPH for period upto 30.09.2028 subject to suitable conditions along with following special conditions:
1. This Consent is granted to the industry subject to the submission of analysis report of emission samples to be collected and analyzed by Board’s lab viz-a-viz achievement of the emission standards prescribed by Board/Punjab Government.
2. The industry will comply with the code of practice prescribed for such type of units by Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Government of Punjab vide Order no. 10/48/2004-STE(4)/932 dated 15.10.2013.
3. The industry will upgrade/replace its existing APCDs, in case MoEF/CPCB/State Government/PPCB notify/revise emission standards for rice shellers/Saila plants.
4. The industry shall get its building plans approved from Competent Authority before the expiry of In Principal Approval i.e. 26.12.2026.
5. The industry will strictly comply with the all conditions of Local Planning area Manuke.
6. The industry will shift from its present site if it falls under non confirming zone due to notification of any Master Plan or any other change in planning.
