It is submitted that the the industry was issued directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 as per which the industry had to close down its operations temporarily till the PDA plugs all the leakages and discharge of untreated effluent is stopped vide letter no. 1073 dated 12.02.2023. Further, the said directions are still in effect and have not been filed by the Board............
Further, matter was put up by RO on e-office file no. 215587 which is with the RO for commenting on the observations made by the Senior Authorities............Thus, the action is pending on part of Board and no documentation / information is required to be submitted by the industry and thus issuance of SCN will not serve the purpose in this case.............Submitted as per my note dated 26.03.2024, please......... |
