Sir, E-office has been checked and found that earlier, the poultry farm was issued Show cause notice for violations of the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. 1075 dated 06/04/2023 to file written reply before the SEE of the Board within 15 days as it was operating without obtaining consents to operate and violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. The industry had not submitted any reply to SCN, however, it has now applied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 after making compliance. The poultry farm has now made the compliance of the previous observations as already reported in previous note. The competency to decide the case lies with EE, RO, however, as in this case the SCN was issued by the Zonal Office, therefore, the CTO be granted to the poultry farm after obtaining approval from the SEE, Zonal Office-II, Patiala, please. |
