It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category unit. The industry has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 along with requisite documents. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has MSME as a proof of date of commissioning. The site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per khasra number mentioned in gazzete notification. The industry has deposited Rs. 31900/- vide UTR No. 929028236 dated 27.03.2024 (Rs. 29200/- water, Rs. 2200/- as NOC regularization fee) against the fixed assets of Rs. 21.85/- which is adequate upto 30.06.2028.
The site of industry was visited by the AEE/JEE of this office on 28.03.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in pickling process on job basis.
2. The industry has signed agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Unit-2, Kohara, Ludhiana @ 2000 Ltr/M for the treatment & disposal of trade effluent generated from pickling process. The industry has installed 3 no. tanks for pickling of strips.
3. The industry has installed water meter at pipeline from where fresh water is consumed in process.
4. The industry has recently started its operation and is maintaining the record of fresh water consumed in process area and trade effluent lifted to CETP operator.
5. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent into sewer.
6. The industry has provided storage tank of capacity 2000 Ltr and approx. 500 Ltr of effluent was lying in storage tank as observed during the visit
7. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
8. The industry has submitted building plan from architect approved by Director of Factory, Pb.
9. The industry has applied for fresh consent after depositing NOC regularization fee and the compliance to the conditions of the NOC is attached alongwith in annotated form. The compliance was verified during the visit and was found to be correct.
10. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 please.
