File Note: It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category unit. Earlier, the consent applied by the industry was refused due to non-attachment/production of record of record alongwith the application form The industry has now again applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 along with requisite documents. The industry has now attached copy of record with the application form. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has submitted MSME certificate as a proof of date of commissioning. The industry has submitted certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 1917 DTP(L)M2A dated 27.07.2023 which stating that the site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31). The industry has deposited Rs. 15,300/- vide UTR No. 714995584 dated 16.01.2024 (Rs. 13700/- water, Rs. 1100/- as NOC regularization fee) against the fixed assets of Rs. 2.87/- which is adequate upto 30.06.2028. The site of industry has already been visited by the AEE/JEE of this office on 16.01.2024 and it was observed as under:- 1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in process of nickel plating of cycle parts. 2. The industry has signed agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Focal Point, Phase-8 Ludhiana @ 3000 Ltr/M for the treatment & disposal of trade effluent generated from process. 3. The industry has installed water meter at pipeline from where fresh water is consumed in process. 4. The industry is maintaining the record of fresh water consumed in process area and trade effluent lifted to CETP operator. 5. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent into sewer. 6. The industry has provided storage tank of capacity 2000 Ltr and approx. 1000 Ltr of effluent was lying in storage tank as observed during the visit 7. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. 8. The industry has submitted building plan from architect approved by Director of Factory, Pb. 9. The industry has applied for fresh consent after depositing NOC regularization fee and the compliance to the conditions of the NOC is attached along with in annotated form. The compliance was verified during the visit and was found to be correct. The compliance report in annotated form as verified is attached alongwith. 10. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 please.
