• The industry is a large scale cement grinding unit and was granted consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 dated 07.04.2021 (Valid upto 31.03.2024) for production of cement @ 2800 TPD (0.92 MTPA).............
• The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 09.02.2024 and effluent sample was collected from the outlet of the STP and as per the analysis report, the conc. of various parameters is within the permissible limits............
• The industry has applied for obtaining extension in the validity of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974..............
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 26.03.2024 and was found in operation. STP of capacity 80 KLD installed, which was in operation and treated effluent is discharged onto land for plantation/irrigation/gardening. No violation reported under the Water Act, 1974..............
• In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be further extended for a period upto 31.03.2029/adequacy of consent fees, subject to the following special conditions that:-...........
1. The industry will operate its STP regularly & scientifically and shall maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated..............
2. The industry will ensure no stagnation in the plantation area at any times and will be bound to increase the same, in case any stagnation is observed in it...............
