• The project is regarding transportation of finished product HSD, MS & SKO through pipeline 10 inch diameter & 18 inch diameter from the industrial premises to HPCL Bulk Depot, Bathinda (30 km length) and to Bahadurgarh, Haryana (250 km length)………..
• The industry is located in the premises of M/s HMEL Refinery in an area of 9.98 acres taken on lease for a period of 99 years…………..
• Previous CTOs valid upto 31.03.2024………...
• Application applied for extension in the validity of CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981……..….
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 29.03.2024 and observed that the industry was in operation and engaged in only in transportation of petroleum products through pipelines of 10 inch diameter and 18 inch diameter. One valve station located at Village Jatana Kalan, Distt. Mansa on the route of 18 inch pipeline. Septic tank provided for the treatment of the domestic effluent alongwith adequate plantation area. One DG set installed with canopy & adequate stack height. No violation reported under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981…………..
• In view of above, if approved, CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be further extended for a period upto 31.03.2029/adequacy of consent fees…………
