Sir, the industry is a small scale orange category unit and has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents.
The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has electricity bill and as well as the purchase bill of induction furnace as a proof of date of commissioning.
The site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per khasra number mentioned in gazzete notification.
The industry has deposited Rs. 61600/- vide UTR No. N080242943770155 dated 20.03.2024 (Rs. 56000/- air & Rs. 5600/- as NOC regularization) & Rs. 56000/- vide UTR No. N080242943770987 dated 20.03.2024 (air) against the fixed assets of Rs. 95.51/- which is adequate upto 30.09.2028.
The site of industry was visited by RO on 01.04.2024 and it was reported as under:- 1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in casting process. 2. The industry has installed 2 induction furnace of capacity 100 kg/each as per the technology provided by the Council as per the PSCST certificate issued vide no. PSCST/TFD/734 dated 28.03.2024. The induction furnaces were not in operation during the visit. 3. The industry has installed allied machinery in the rest of its premises. 4. The industry has installed two D.G sets of capacity 180 KVA & 125 KVA with canopies and adequate stack height. 5. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent into sewer and no trade effluent is generated. 6. The industry has submitted building plan from architect approved by Director of Factory, Pb. 7. The industry has applied for fresh consent after depositing NOC regularization fee and the compliance to the conditions of the NOC is attached alongwith in annotated form. The compliance was verified during the visit and was found to be correct. 8. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2028 with usual conditions, please.
