It is submitted that the unit has applied for obtaining Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, under Green Category through OCMMS with required documents for operating of Saw Mill @ 200 Kgs/day.
The unit has deposited Rs. 29,450/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXISP00477205509 dated 05/03/2024 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 (including Rs. 5400/- as penalty) and Rs. 29,450/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXISP00477205506 dated 05/03/2024 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981 (including Rs. 5400/- as penalty), which is adequate up to 31/12/2028. The unit has also deposited Rs. 900/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXISP00477720372 dated 06/03/2024 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXISP00477669302 dated 06/03/2024 as an application form fee.
The unit has submitted latest CA Certificate having total value of fixed assets Rs.9.15 Lakh, proof of date of commissioning, udyam registration certificate, area classification certificate issued by DTP, Amritsar vide no. 221 dated 15/02/2023, applied for receipt of the Department of Forest & Wildlife Preservation, Punjab & undertaking regarding proprietorship etc.
As per the categorization of CPCB, the industry falls under list of green category industries, “Saw mills” at serial no. 3042.
It is further submitted that the unit falls in Green category in Small Scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer of the Board.
In view of the above, may if approved, the consent to operate under the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit under Green Category up to 31/12/2028 with usual terms and conditions along with following special conditions:-
1. The unit will comply with the conditions of consents granted to it.
2. The unit at any stage will not generate any emission and trade effluent from its premises.
