• The industry is a existing unit engaged in the production of refined oil @ 50 TPD, Vanspati Ghee @ 100 TPD, Parboiled Rice @ 68 TPD and operation of solvent extraction plant @ 300 TPD………….
• The consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 was valid upto 31.03.2024 for operation of 02 no. boilers of capacity 12 TPH & 08 TPH respectively, one no. furnace of capacity 15 Kcal and one no. DG set of capacity 1010 KVA……..
• Application applied for obtaining extension in the validity of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981………..…
• The visiting has reported that the industry was visited on 22.03.2024 and the industry was found in operation for production of refined oil & solvent plant only. The industry has installed multi-cyclone as APCD with the boiler of capacity 08 TPH & trima cyclone installed as APCD with the boiler furnace of capacity 12 TPH & thermopac of capacity 15 lac Kcal. One no. emission sample collected but the results of the same are yet awaited. Rice husk used as fuel in the boilers and the fuel ash being dumped in the low lying areas.
• In view of above, if approved, CTO under the Air Act, 1981 granted to the industry be further extended upto 31.03.2025, subject to the following special conditions that:-
1. The industry will obtain permission from the concerned department regarding operation of the unit at the present site beyond 25.05.2025……….
2. The industry will get is emission sample analyzed from the Board's lab/approved lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board.…………
3. The industry shall prepare Ash Disposal Action Plan with real-time basis so that the disposal of ash (generated from the boilers) can be tracked at the main gate at all times and shall submit the same, within 15 days to the Regional Office, Bathinda of the Board…………..
