Sir, the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 31/03/2024 for the manufacturing of Forging of Auto Parts (Gear /Pinion/ Crown/Flange/Shafts/Cranks etc.) @ 100 TPD.
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents.
The industry has deposited consent fee adequate upto 31/03/2028.
The industry has submitted year wise detail of increase in its fixed assets i.e. purchase of Shot blasting machine, MS Chimney, Vertical Turnet Lathe Machine Fanuc, Vertical Turnet Lathe Machine, Metal Cutting Bandsaw Machine, EOT Crane 15 Ton Capacity, VMC Drill Machine, VTL Machine, Induction Heating Machine, Flange Hole Deburring Machine, Hydraulic Muber Punching Machine and Turbo Charges. There is no increase in the production capacity as well as pollution load due to increase in fixed assets.
The industry was visited by RO on 01.04.2024 and it was reported as under: 1. The industry was in operation during visit & engaged in forging of auto parts. 2. The industry has one heating furnace with dual burner (FO/PNG) with hammer of capacity 25 Ton & two trimming machines and currently using furnace oil as fuel. It has provided hood followed by stack of adequate height for emission dissipation. 3. The industry has installed 1 no. heating furnace with burner (Electricity/FO/PNG) and currently using with electricity with hammer of capacity 2.5 Ton along with CNC machine, Drilling machine & lathe machine. It has provided hood followed by stack of adequate height for emission dissipation. 4. It has also installed 1 no. PNG based heating furnace with hammers of capacity 2 Ton and 3 Ton. 5. The industry has installed one PNG based HT Normalizing furnace and 1 no. conveyor dip pain line machine with induction heating technology. 6. It has installed 1 no. shot blast machine with in built bag house filter as APCD. 7. The industry has installed 3 no. DG sets of capacity 82, 600 KVA & 500 KVA with canopies and adequate stack heights. 8. There is no source of trade effluent generation & only domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD is being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. 9. The industry is complying with provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of the above, it is recommended that 'consent to operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31/03/2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board, please.
