RO reported that the generation of effluent from the process of manufacturing of sweets is 3.5 KLD and domestic effluent is 5 KLD and both are treated in STP installed by the industry based on bio-logical process. 6. The industry has installed STP of 10 KLD capacity comprising of all the components required for bio-logical treatment, which are underground and the STP is a packaged unit and has been designed by a Japanese company namely Daikiaxis. The treated effluent is discharged onto land for plantation.
If approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to industry upto 30.09.2029 as per the policy of the Board with suitable terms and conditions, please.
