It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, under Green Category through OCMMS with required documents for establishment of a Departmental Store.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 14,900/- vide Receipt No. 804897011 dated 22/01/2024 as consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (including Rs. 500/- as an application form fee), which is adequate for One year.
• The industry has submitted Project Report comprising of total project i.e. Rs. 1308.51 Lakh, detail of Khasra Nos. along with its value, total land area measuring about 3.82 Acres & covered area about 3807.76 sq. meters.
• The industry has also submitted copy of letter issued by STP, Amritsar change of land use & approval of building plan issued vide letter no. STP(A)/DNCG-1/361 dated 26/03/2024, in which is it stated that “As per the given zoning drawing plan No. AS/1 dated 20/03/2024, site plan drawing no. AS/3 dated 20/03/2024, ground & terrace floor (block-2) drawing no. AS/4 dated, elevation & sections (block-2) drawing no. AS/6 dated 20/03/2024 and after verification as per Punjab Urban Planning & Development Rules, 2021, National Building Code of India, 2016 and Unified Zoning Regulations & Development Controls, 2018 and after finding the above documents technically correct, change of land use and approval regarding of building plan has been permitted to the project proponent with suitable conditions mentioned therein.
• The project proponent has submitted Registered Deeds of the land, Memorandum of Articles of Association (MoA) and site plan/location plan etc.
As per the documents submitted by the project proponent and the change of land use and approval regarding of building plan granted by the STP, Amritsar vide letter no. STP(A)/DNCG-1/361 dated 26/03/2024, the unit was found complying with the guidelines issued by the Board.
The process of the unit falls in Green category in small-scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with The Environmental Engineer of the Board.
In view of the above, if approved:
1) The consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the project proponent under Green Category for One year i.e. upto 31/03/2025 with usual terms and conditions and special condition that the unit shall not discharge fugitive emissions/trade effluent from its premises.
2) The unit shall apply/obtain consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 before its operation.
