File Note: It is submitted that w.r.t. treatment of effluent, Clause 9.2.vii. of the Guidelines issued by CPCB in March 2023 is reproduced as under: ""A suitable Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with collection tank, oil and grease trap followed by physico-chemical treatment shall be provided for the treatment of wastewater generated from floor/vehicle washings, if any, including rainwater in compliance with health and environmental regulations;"". In this regard, a clarification was raised online and the industry has replied to the same as under: "1. As per CPCB guiddelines of March 2023, we will install Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of capacity 10 KLD with collection tank, oil and grease trap followed by physico-chemical treatment shall be provided for the treatment of wastewater generated from floor/vehicle washings, including rainwater in compliance with health and environmental regulations. 2. We will also complied all other guidelines issued by CPCB for ELV, 2023 at the time of obtaining Consent to operate from the board." Now, pointwise reply of the observations of ZO is as under: 1. The industry has proposed to install an ETP of capacity 10 KLD based on physico-chemical treatment, for treatment of wastewater to be generated from its process, including loor/vehicle washings etc. The industry has proposed to use treated wastewater for plantation purpose within premises. The proposal submitted by the industry seems adequate and is in line with the guidelines issued by CPCB in this regard. 2. The industry shall have to submit compliance report of guidelines issued by CPCB for ELV, 2023 at the time of obtaining Consent to operate from the board. submitted for taking action as proposed vide note dated 02.04.2024, except earlier proposed condition no.5, which may be read as: 5. The industry shall install ETP of cpacity 10 KLD with collection tank, oil and grease trap followed by physico-chemical treatment, for treatment of trade effluent to be generated from the unit, as per the proposal submitted with online application, as per the details submitted alongwith online application. submitted please.
