As per RO report, the industry was again visited on 20.03.2024 and during visit industry was in operation and effluent samples were collected from the outlet of the ETP. As per analysis report, the concentration of various parameters outlet are pH= 7.5, TSS =22 mg/l, TDS = 1220 mg/l, COD = 46 mg/l, BOD =10 mg/l, O&G = BDL mg/l, Sulphides = BDL, Phenolic Compound = BDL, Ammonical Nitrogen = BDL and Total Chromium, BDL, as per the report all the parameters were found within the limits prescribed by the Board. Hence the industry was found complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
In view of above, it is recommended that……………………………: 1. Renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for the period of further six months with usual conditions.... . 2. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 be issued to the PSPCL authorities for restoration of electric supply of the industry temporarily for the period of further six months…………………………….
