Pointwise reply of the observations raised above is as under :-
1. The industry has now uploaded copies of CLU certificates issued by MC Jal in the year 2018 for the land owned by it. As per certificates, the CLU has been granted for General Industrial Zone purpose and total land is approx 9278 sq Gaj .
2. Presently the industry falls under Small scale orange category and after expansion, it will cover under Medium scale orange category. Thus the competency to decide the case is lies with CEE- Jal .
3. The industry falls in General Industrial Zone as per Master plan of Jalandhar city , hence it is exempted to obtain SAC clearance.
4. As per application of the industry, the expected production capacity of the unit will be around 78 TPD, calculating the annual production capacity of the industry (78 TPD * considering max working days 365 days ) it will comes 28,470 TPA, which is less than 30,000 TPA , thus the industry is not covered under the ambit of the EIA Notification dated 14.09.2006.
In view of the above it is recommended that NOC case be granted to the industry be granted to the industry as already proposed by this office office pl. |
