On perusal of the agenda note of AEE, it is clear that the industry is not complying with the conditions of Environmental Clearance granted under EIA notification dated 14.09.2006. Further, the industry has not installed any system to control the secondary emissions as per the conditions imposed in the EC granted to it. Also, the industry has not developed the plantation in an area of 33%.
As such, it is recommended that the application for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 applied by the industry may be refused after affording an opportunity of personal hearing before the Competent Authority of the Board.
