Point wise reply of clarifications raised by the Competent Authority is as under:
1. Previous consented discharge.
Reply- Earlier, the industry was granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for discharge of treated trade effluent @ 230 KLD into sewer.
2. Present discharge.
Reply- Now, the industry has applied varied 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for discharge of trade effluent @ 460 KLD into CETP. However, the industry is discharging its effluent @ 460 KLD to CETP on an average in the month of February, 2024 and 335.8 KLD in the month of March, 2024.
3. Status of dematerialization of its shares with PDA.
Reply- The industry has already transferred its shares @ 500 KLD into demat account.
4. TDS at the outlet of the industry.
Reply- As per sample collected from the outlet of the industry on 05.10.2023, TDS was reported as 1992 mg/ltr.
