It is intimated that the HCF was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/NWS/2023/21402546 dated 26.03.2023 valid upto 31.03.2024 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/NWS/2023/21402548 dated 26.03.2023 valid upto 31.03.2025 with conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the HCF has applied for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The HCF has submitted earlier granted consents, bed certificate, CA certificate. The HCF has submitted document regarding change of GM of the Hospital.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 50000/- vide UTR No. YESIG40620104007 dated 02.03.2024 under Air Act and Rs. 20000/- vide UTR No. YESB30686362622 dated 09.03.2023 under Water Act. The fee deposited by the HCF is valid upto 31.03.2025 under Air Act and 31.03.2029 under Water Act, 1974.
Earlier, the hospital was visited by officer of this office on 06.12.2023 and it was observed that the HCF was in operation. The HCF has installed STP Cum ETP for the treatment of domestic effluent and hospital effluent respectively. The domestic effluent is generated @ 30 KLD and trade effluent @ 8 KLD. The STP-cum-ETP consist with Collection tank, dozing tank MBBR, tube settler,STP MBBR, filter and final outlet. During visit, effluent sample was collected from the outlet of the STP-cum-ETP and sent to ZO Lab, Jalandhar for analysis and as per analysis report received from ZO Lab, Jalandhar vide no. 3332-34 dated 19.12.2023, the results are confirming to the standards framed by the Board. The HCF has installed 02 No. DG Sets of capacity 380 KVA & 380 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that 1) consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.03.2029 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.03.2025 with suitable terms and conditions.
