It is intimated that the Military Engineering services is proposed to install 05 Sewerage Treatment Plants at various locations of Air Force Station, Halwara. The PP has submitted Project Report of the STP, as per which the proposed STP shall base on MBBR Technology and of capacity 01 MLD. The PP is proposed to utilize treated effluent of STP in Arboriculture and oxidation ponds. The PP has deposited Rs. 39600/- vide no. SBIN124052059109 dated 21.02.2024 as CTE fee collectively for all 05 STPs, out of which Rs. 10800/- may be consider as CTE fees for 01 MLD STP, which is valid for 01 year. The site of the proposed STPs were visited by the undersigned and observed as under: -
1. The PP is proposed to install 05 STPs at various locations of Air Force Station, Halwara, out of which 01 STP shall of capacity 01 MLD, 01 of 200 KLD, 01 of 135 KLD and 02 of 40 KLD. The 01 MLD STP shall base on MBBR Technology and all other STPs shall base on SBR Technology.
2. The STP of capacity 01 MLD is proposed to installed at Dilbagh Enclave, Air Force Station Halwara.
3. The PP is proposed to utilize treated water of this STP for plantation, flushing purpose and in existing oxidation ponds for evaporation.
4. The area under existing green belt shall be used as plantation.
5. Currently, no construction work was carried out at the site.
6. The PP has submitted Project Report as per which the project cost is 164.04 lacs
It is pertinent to mention that the said projects are of top priority for Air Force & MES.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the CTE under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the PP subject to the usual conditions, please.
