Sir, the industry is a medium scale red category unit and has earlier granted consent under Water Act, 1974 & under Air Act, 1981 both expired on 31/03/2024. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for the same production capacity. The industry has submitted details of added machinery. The industry has installed and modernized machining equipments in its premises. The industry has deposited NOC regularization on account of increase in fixed assets and plant and machinery.
The site of industry was visited by RO on 01.04.2024 and it was reported as under:- 1. The industry was in operation and engaged in forging of auto parts. 2. The industry has installed 06 hammers of capacity 04 Ton, 03 Ton, 02 Ton, 1.5 Ton, 1.2 Ton & 01 Ton. 3. The industry has installed 05 oil fired furnaces attached with stack of adequate height. The industry has now also installed 01 billet heater. 4. The industry has installed 02 LPG fired heat treatment furnaces. 5. The industry has installed 02 oil fired annealing furnace which were not in operation during the visit. The annealing furnaces are provided with adequate stack. 6. The industry has installed 02 shot blasting machines which are attached with bag filter house as APCDs and stack of adequate height. 7. The industry has installed 02 DG set, one with canopy and another with acoustic enclosure. 8. No trade effluent was being generated by the industry. Entire cooling water is being recycled. Only domestic effluent is being discharged into M.C. sewer. 9. The industry is complying with consent conditions granted to it.
In view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be renewed to the industry upto 31.03.2029 with usual conditions, please.
