It is submitted that the industry is a large scale green category units and earlier granted Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renew/LDH4/2020/14669611 dated 08/03/2021, which is valid upto 30/09/2023 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renew/LDH4/2020/14669599 dated 08/03/2021, which was valid up to 30/09/2023 with special conditions mentioned therein.
Now the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited consent fee Rs. 23760/- vide UTR. No. 000140857193 dated 27.10.2023 & Rs. 9000/- vide UTR no. 000144354645 dated 07.02.2024 consent fees under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 8400/- vide UTR. No. 000140856894 dated 27.10.2023 under the NOC regularization fees and Rs. 23760/- vied UTR no. 000140856791 dated 27.10.2023 & Rs. 9000/- vide UTR No. 000144354582 dated 07.02.2024 under Air Act, 1981 against the C.A certificate as Rs. 2276.11/- lacs as on 10.08.2023. The consent fee is adequate upto 30.09.2026.
To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 22.02.2024 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in manufacturing of agricultural parts.
2. The industry has installed CNC machines, lathe machines etc. in the premises. The industry has now added 02 shot blast machines with inbuilt bag filter as APCD.
3. The industry has installed heat treatment process with gas carburizing, electric annealing and induction hardening.
4. The industry has submitted detail of increase assets and machinery.
5. There is no generation of trade effluent in the premises of the industry and only domestic effluent discharged onto land for plantation after septic tanks.
6. The industry has installed a DG set @500 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
7. The industry has submitted a letter from DTP vide no. 2461 dated 26.09.2023 mentioning that the site of the unit falls under mix land zone along the road front and green category industries are allowed in this zone.
The industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2025 with suitable conditions, please.
