It is reported that the industry is not achieving the trade effluent discharge standards in terms of BOD/ COD, but now it has made efforts to improve the performance of its ETP.
In view of the above if approved before considering the request of the industry:
1. Out of Bank Guarantee no. 0199420IFG038398 amounting to Rs 1,50,000/- submitted by the industry, an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- be encashed. And the industry be asked to submit an additional Bank Guarantee of Rs 1,00,000/- as an assurance to comply with provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
2. Directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 may be issued for restoration of the electric connection of the industry temporarily for six months.
3. Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 will be granted to industry for three months after the decisions at (1) & (2) above. |
