As discussed, the industry was granted consent under the Water Act, 1974 valid upto 31.03.2027. It is submitted that the industry has already given hearing before the Chairman of the Board on dated 23.04.2024 under the Water Act, 1974.
If approved,
1.Renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to industry upto 31.03.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
2. The matter regarding the validity of consent under the Water Act, 1974 may be considered during hearing for curtailing the consent.
