Sir, the industry is a small scale red category unit and and has applied for obtaining fresh 'consent to operate' under the Water Act, 1974.
The report of RO has been perused and it has been observed as under:-
1. The industry has been established without NOC of the Board and has not submitted point wise compliance of NOC conditions in annotated form.
2. The industry has not submitted copy of agreement made with M/s JBR Technologies Ltd. Ludhiana
3. The industry is newely commissioned unit and has not submitted month wise details w.r.t. water consumption and effluent generation from process from date of commisioning.
4. The industry has not submitted proof of exact date of commissioning of the unit.
5. The industry has not submitted approved building plan from Director of Factories, Punjab.
In view of the above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
