It is submitted that the representative of the industry was contacted regarding the quantity of raw material to be used by the industry. Accordingly it has submitted undertaking (attached) reproduced as under:
I Arun Baghla s/o Satpal Baghla R/o Fazilka declare as under: -
1. That I am the Proprietor of M/s Gujrat Agro Fuels, Village Gallu, Fazilka.
2. That I will manufacture paddy straw for 120 days in the year and balance 180 days I will manufacture fuel briquettes.
3. That my production capacity is 6TPD of pallets in a day and 18 TPD of fuel briquettes in a day.
4. That I will manufacture 720 Ton of paddy straw pallets in 120 days and I will use 576 Ton 80 % of paddy straw in 120 days for production of 720 Ton of paddy straw pallets and 144 ton 20% of other bio mass or agri waste for production of paddy straw pallets.
5. That I will fulfill all the condition of Punjab Pollution Control Board for operation of my industry.
From above, it is conclude that the project proponent will use 576 Tonne of paddy straw (80 % of raw material) annually and 20 % of other biomass for manufacturing of 720 tone of paddy straw pellets on annual basis.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 31.12.2027 for manufacturing of fuel briquettes @ 18 TPD and paddy straw pellets @ 6 TPD using Press Mud/Saw Dust/ Cow Dung/ Agricultural Waste / Paddy Straw, subject to the suitable conditions alongwtih the followings:- 1) The industry shall not install dryer in its premises without obtaining prior permission of the Board.
