A clarification was raised by Worthy CEE(B) that why the ETP has not been monitored by the visiting officer on 29/3/2024 during visit, to which the visiting officer has reported that earlier the industry was identified and found operational without any ETP plant for treatment of effluent. Now, the industry has installed physio-chemical treatment based ETP plant to treat the effluent generated. During visit the ETP was in line and the effluent generated was being collected at the collection tank however there was very less effluent at the inlet as the industry has just started its operations for this season and there was no flow at outlet as such effluent samples were not collected during visit. The industry has made provision for discharge into sewerline. Further the effluent samples will be collected when the operation of the industry comes into full swing.......................
If approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2024, subject to the following special conditions that:-…………. 1. The industry shall operate its ETP regularly & efficiently so as to achieve the effluent standards prescribed by the Board at all times…………… 2. The industry shall maintain proper record of the chemicals being used for the purpose of dozing and shall also maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated on daily basis………….
