Kindly find attached the detailed inspection report along with agenda note. Further observations are as under:-
It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The project proponent has submitted List of Directors (comprising Gaurav Burman, Mohit Burman, Arun Gupta, Kumar Saurabh & Berry V Weller), CA Certificate, Site Plan/Location Plan, Manufacturing Process, Company History, Food Preparation Chart, Schematic Drawing of ETP of capacity 5 KLD based on SBR technology supplied by Grannus Water & Environmental Solutions Private Limited, New Delhi, Allotment letter issued by Executive Officer, Improvement Trust, Amritsar under 97-Acre scheme along with Agreements, Building Plan sanctioned by Improvement Trust, Amritsar vide building plan regd. no. 192 dated 18/01/2018.
The site of the proposed project was visited by officer of this office on 19/04/2024 and observed as under:-
1. The site is located in Ranjit Avenue Market under the 97 Acre Scheme.
2. The unit is a Restaurant having footfall of approx. 200 Nos/Day.
3. The project proponent falls within the Municipal Limits of Amritsar.
4. The project proponent has installed an STP of capacity 5 KLD based on SBR technology at top floor of the Building and the discharge of the same is into MC sewer connected to the terminal end of the STP installed by Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.
5. The project proponent has installed a DG set of capacity 160 KVA, which is provided with canopy.
It is further intimated that the unit is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The unit falls in Orange category in the small-scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent up to 30/09/2028 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that:-
1. The unit at any stage will not generate any emission from its premises.
2. The unit will submit the effluent analysis report issued by Board’s Lab within 02 months. |
