As per the EC, the total water requirement of the project is expected to be 420 KLD (370 KLD Domestic water demand + 25 KLD swimming pool make up water + 23 KLD HVAC & DG cooling + 2 KLD Horticultural demand) and the same will be met by 239 KLD freshwater from borewells (2 nos) and 181 KLD recycled water. 296 KLD of wastewater generated will be treated in an STP of a total 390 KLD capacity. 181 KLD of treated wastewater will be recycled and re-used (156 KLD for flushing, 2 KLD for gardening, and 23 KLD for HVAC and DG cooling). About 109 KLD will be disposed of off for nearby construction or to GMADA sewer.
As per the record shown during visit the total ground fresh water extraction is about 80 KLD out of which 40 KLD is being treated in the STP daily and about 25-30 KLD is being used for gardening, 2-3 KLD is being used for HVAC makeup and the rest is being discharged into sewer. As per record the water extraction and generation is well within the EC. Further, the pp has provided STP of capacity 390 KLD as required in the EC and is complying with the conditions of EC granted to it.
