File Note: The point wise reply is as under: - 1. Which additional machinery was proposed to be installed as per previous granted CTE (for expansion) ? Reply: - The industry has proposed to install 2 nos. mechanical dryers and boiler plant to produce Sorted raw rice with dryer/Steamed rice @ 4.0 TPH and Parboiled rice @ 2.0 TPH by using Paddy @ 9.0 TPH after expansion. Whether the industry has installed complete machinery proposed in the said CTE (for expansion)? Reply: - Yes, the industry has installed complete machinery proposed in the said CTE (for expansion) Has the expansion activity been carried out in the existing premises of 28k-3M only ? Reply: - Yes, the expansion activity been carried out in the existing premises of 28k-3M only. 2. Pl check agenda point A (vii) w.r.t consent fee and mention correctly CTO fee deposited under each Act. Also report adequacy of consent fee. Reply: - 3. Pl check addenda point E (i) and report correctly whether boiler is still proposed or installed and correct figures w.r.t quantity of fuel being used ? Reply: - The boiler of capacity 6.0 TPH has been installed and around 1.5--2.0 Tonne per day fuel. 4. Why air emission and effluent sampling not carried out during visit ? Was stack of boiler clear as observed during visit ? Reply: - The air emission sample could not be collected due to the shortage of lab staff and same shall be collected in future. Presently, industry is producing steamed rice and no saila rice is being produced. Thus, sampling could not be carried out. 5. Is the record of ETP operations maintained by the industry ? Is growth of trees in the plantation area adequate ? Also comment of adequacy of plantation area w.r.t disposal of effluent. Reply: - Record maintained. Plants growth was found adequate. The industry has developed around 1.5 acre plantation area, which is adequate to utilise entire treated trade effluent. 6. Completion certificate of ETP has no mention of capacity and regarding whether ETP installed will achieve prescribed standards of the Board. Reply: - The ETP installed by the industry is in the operational form. The adequacy will be checked after collecting samples. 7. Has the industry submitted any completion certificate/undertaking regarding APCD. If so, mention about the same. Reply: - Yes, the industry has submitted undertaking that APCD will be installed to achive the prescribed standards of the Board. 8. Has the industry submit revised approved building plan from concerned authorities. Also submit fresh recommendations in the matter. Reply: - The industry has not submit revised approved building plan from concerned authorities. The representative of the industry informed that the revised building plan shall be submitted within one month. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate for installation of mechanical dryer (2 nos.) and a boiler plant of capacity 6.0 TPH in its existing land measuring 28 kanal 3 marla, may be granted to manufacture Sorted raw rice with dryer/Steamed rice @ 4.0 TPH and Parboiled rice @ 2.0 TPH by using Paddy @ 9.0 TPH may be granted upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and following special conditions that: - 1. The industry shall analyse the ETP as well as APCD performance from the Board's lab within 3 months. 2. The industry shall submit the revised building plan within one month.
