Sir, the industry is a small scale red category unit and and has applied for obtaining fresh 'consent to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
The report of RO has been perused and it has been observed as under:-
1. The industry is red category unit and has been established without NOC of the Board.
2. The industry is newely commissioned unit and has not submitted month wise details w.r.t. water consumption and effluent generation from process from date of commisioning.
3. The industry has not registration certificate from Competent Authority as a proof of exact date of commissioning of the unit.
4. The industry has not submitted copy of certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana.
In view of the above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
