It is submitted that the site of the project was visited by the undersigned on 23.04.2024 and found that it falls at NH-7, Kothe Gobindpura, VPO Dhanaula, Barnala outside MC limit. Further, no terminal STP has been installed in Dhanaula. As per Board's notification dated 2.02.2021 regarding guidelines for control of pollution in hotels/motels/banquet halls, restaurants etc. the establishments which are not connected to the city STPs, shall provide captive ETPs/STPs for treatment of effluent generated from their premises and shall make necessary arrangements for reuse the treated effluents including disposal onto land for plantation. However, the project proponent with present application has only proposed to install the septic tanks. Further, the project proponent has also not submitted the details regarding disposal of its solid waste and compliance of the Board's notification dated 02.02.2021. The project proponent was requested to submit the correct application after incorporating the details of the STP and proper disposal details of treated effluent.
Application cannot be returned from my portal at this stage.
In view of above, it is requested that the application be returned to the project proponent at your end with request to resubmit the same with the proposal of STP and compliances of Board's notification dated 02.02.2021.
