The project proponent has applied for obtaining of consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up a unit for commercial complex for shopping center with total area of 0.94 acres and having following structures:-
1. SCOS HAVING 1111.11 SQ. YARD AREA @ 10 Numbers
2. SCOS HAVING 844.40 SQ. YARD AREA @ 8 Numbers
3. SCOS HAVING 106.89 SQ. YARD AREA @ 1 Number
The project proponent has filled online application form, project report, Feasibility report of proposed STP, Certificate of Incorporation, MOA certificate, Copy of Fard, Site plan and approved building plan.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 24000/- vide no. AXOIC10299716440 dated 11.04.2024 as NOC fee, Rs. 500/- vide no. AXOIC10299716575 dated 11.04.2024 as application form fee. The adequacy of fee deposited by the industry for one year.
The site of the proposed unit was visited by the officers of this office on 24.04.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The proposed site is located at Village Sherpur Kalan, Hadbast No. 176, Industrial Area-A, Ludhiana.
2. The project proponent has earmarked the boundary of the proposed industry and no construction activity has started.
3. The dismantling of old structure was undergoing during the visit.
4. The project proponent has proposed to install STP @ 100 KLD and treated effluent will be discharged into MC sewer.
5. The industry has proposed to install 1 D.G set of capacity 65 KVA, which will be equipped with stack of adequate height.
6. There will be no generation of treated trade effluent, only domestic effluent, which will be discharge into sewer after treatment through STP.
7. The site is suitable for such type of establishment, in light of approved building plan issued by MC, Ludhiana.
In view of above, it is recommended that, Consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable terms and conditions.
