The industry is small scale red category under red category code 1044……………………
The industry has been established without obtaining NOC of the Board and it has now applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production of bicycle parts through OCMMS on 17.04.2024…………………..
The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.06.2029……………………..
The industry has submitted copy of agreement on 01.12.2021 with i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Ludhiana for lifting of effluent as proof of date of commissioning of the industry and also has submitted undertaking regarding start of work wet process (Electroplating) which is mentioned that earlier, it was doing manufacturing of different item, those not required any wet process and electroplating process has been started from December, 2021 in its premises. The site of industry is located in Focal Point, Phase-8 Ludhiana. Hence the site is suitable for establishment of red category unit…………………………
Accordingly, the industry was recently visited by AEE of RO on 18.04.2024 during visit to the area and observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the process of electroplating of bicycle parts on job basis.
2. The industry has executed an agreement with i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting of effluent @ 18,000 Liter/Month.
3. The industry has installed water meter on the source of fresh water supply & its reading is in line with records.
4. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumed in the process. The details of fresh water consumption and effluent lifting is attached as pdf file.
5. The industry has provided separate register and is maintaining the record of water consumption in process as well as effluent lifted by M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana.
6. The domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
7. The industry has installed one DG set of capacities 200 KVA equipped with canopy along with adequate stack height.
8. The industry has submitted approved building plan from Sh. Lokinder Bansal competent person recognized by Director of Factories, Punjab.
As proposed by Regional Office, if approved that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2029 with suitable conditions and special condition that:
1. The industry shall generate and lift its effluent in proportion to its MOU signed with the CETP operator and shall not use any other mode of disposal without permission of the Board.
