• The project proponent has applied for obtaining fresh Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board for the establishment of a new unit at H.B No. 164, Village Dhogri, Pathankot Road, Jalandhar with the proposal to manufacturing of Casting of Auto Parts and Valves @ 30 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Pig Iron and M.S Scrap etc @ 40 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material and detail of the same is as under: -
1. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 24000/- vide UTR no. 001341483127 dated 03.04.2024 as NOC fee against the proposed fixed assets of Rs. 1900.0 lacs as per project report.
2. The project proponent has submitted land use classification of area certificate issued by DTP, Jalandhar vide letter No. 1894/SSV-I dated 21.12.2023 in which mentioned that the site of the industry falls in General Industrial Zone as per Master Plan 2009-2031.
3. The project proponent has submitted/uploaded project report, partnership deed, feasibility report of air pollution control device from PSCST, Chandigarh, layout plan, manufacturing process with the application.
4. The project proponent has proposed to install 3 no. shot blasting machines of capacity 25 MTD with bag filter house as APCD.
5. The project proponent has proposed to install one induction furnace of capacity 0.750 TPH with bag filter house as APCD machine at site.
6. The project proponent has proposed to install painting booth with water sprinkling system, wood fired baby boiler with cyclone separator, powder coating with cyclone separator and one DG set of capacity 200 KVA with canopy at site.
7. There is no source of trade effluent generated and domestic effluent is proposed to discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank
• The proposed site was visited by AEE of this office on 25.04.2024 and it was observed that the industry is going to establish its unit at village Dhogri, Pathankot Road, Jalandhar. At site, construction work of the proposed project has been completed @ 90%. There is no village phirni, educational institute, Religious place from the from proposed site within 100 meter. The site is suitable to set up proposed unit.
The industry is a small scale orange category and the competency of case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal office, Jalandhar.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable conditions and with special conditions that :
1. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission/ statutory clearance from the concerned Departments, if required, if any, in future its own level.
