Sub:- Application for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981- M/s M.K. Industry, Plot No.45, Industrial Area, Gurdaspur.
It is submitted that earlier consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference CTE/Fresh/GRP/2020/9419065 dated 29/06/2020 which was Valid upto 30/06/2021 under Green Category.
Now, the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category along with documents and fee.
The industry has deposited Rs. 83700/- vide UTR No. UCBAH24023505103 dated 23/01/2024 & Rs. 83200/- vide UTR No. UCBAH24023505028 dated 23/01/2024 under Air Act, 1981 and Water Act, 1974 including penalty fee and application against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 1,96,60,036.00/- as per CA certificate submitted by the industry and same are adequate upto 31/12/2034 under both Acts.
The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the Municipal Council, Gurdaspur.
The industry was visited by undersigned on 25/04/2024 and observed as under:-
1. The industry is engaged in a process of manufacturing of Copper Wire. During visit the industry was not in operation during the visit.
2. There is no source of trade effluent from the industrial premises. Only domestic effluent is generated by the industry, for treatment for which the industry has constructed septic tank with provision to discharge the treated domestic effluent onto Sewer.
May if approved consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31/12/2034 for the manufacturing of Copper Wire subject to the following special conditions:-
1. The industry shall not generate any trade effluent.
2. The industry shall not enhance the production capacity of the unit without prior permission of the Board.
