It is submitted that the industry was visited on 24.04.2024 to verify the submission of the industry and it was observed that the industry was not in operation due to completion of processing activities. Further, the stabilization work of the movement area has been started and as informed by the representative will be completed within one month.
In view of above, it is recommended that show cause notice issued to the industry may be dropped and consent to operate may be granted to the rice mill under the Air Act, 1981 for operation of rice sheller unit of capacity 3 TPH of Raw rice/Sorted Rice with Dryer may be granted to the unit upto 30.09.2029 with suitable conditions along with special conditions that:-
i) The industry will discharge only treated domestic effluent onto land for plantation / green belt.
ii) The industry shall not increase its existing land area without prior permission of the Board.
iii) The industry shall not increase its production capacity without the prior written permission/NOC of the Board.
iv) The industry shall stabilize the movement area completely within one month / before commissioning of the rice mill in the next season. |
